Washington D.C. native, Roc Dezul, born Terrell R. McLeod, has always aspired to make his mark as Hip Hop Royalty. At a very young age music was a big influence in his life. He grew up listening to an array of R&B and Soul music. Dezul's top influences were Legends such as, Steve Wonder,Nas,common,Gangstarr,EPMD ,Black thought of the Roots,and Marvin Gay, just to name a few. In High School is where Dezul soon discovered his talent, as a prolific and quite energetic Lyricist as he entertained the mass of his peers. This came as no surprise considering his enormous love for Hip Hop. These early days of discovery, are what truly fueled Roc Dezul' s aspirations, to take his talents to the world on a professional level. He then paired up with (4) of his friends who also shared in his lyrical talent and love of music, to start a Hip Hop group called "Knightz".
