Daniel J. Miller (born September 9, 1994), better known by his stage name Skinny, is an American rapper, producer and songwriter from Houston, Texas. Skinny grew up majority of his young life in the South West sector of Houston. It was there where his passion and love for music began to form. Skinny’s unique, out of this world, style draws inspiration from all of his favorite artists both current and of all time: (Big Sean, Drake, Jay Z, Curren$y, UGK, Three 6 Mafia, Young Dolph, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, and Lil Wayne just to name a few). His story entails his experiences growing up in the streets of Houston, as a military vet, and former security guard for famous jeweler Johnny Dang. Not only does this show in his music but also within his beats and his brand AIT (Aliens In the Trap). When asked more about his brand Skinny stated, “To me, AIT is about being your own unique person in a messed up world that you still have to find a way to live off of. The world is a Trap. My trap”
