Steef Broekhof ('67) is a songwriter, singer and producer from The Netherlands. He's also the lead vocalist and drummer of the progrock/new-wave band Last Son of Eve. As a multi-instrumentalist he started a solo career by the end of the 90's after serving several bands and projects as a drummer. His debut album Down to Earth (Bee&Bee records/2000) released under AKA Steve Brooke, reflected his personal musical roots. Combining his experience from his drumming days as being part of the new romantic, new wave and alternative rock movement with progressive and symphonic elements, yielded a quite versatile album that was praised by the mags. Several ep's and singles later Steef buried his alter ego in 2013. After a period of illness he started writing new material for LSOE as well for his solo project.
