Joel Martinez..a.k.a Dee Santana was born in Orlando, FL & raised on the east coast in Melbourne, FL. At only 2 years old he was adopted to another family, Despite this rough start he also found his love for music early in life, “I started off writing poetry in like 5th grade, my teachers were taken back with some of the phrases i would say. Growing up was very difficult for me, not knowing who i was inside and why i always felt different just made me shelter myself away from people more and more, music along with writing was always an outlet for me” His amazing stories and experiences have fueled many of his creative lines within his music, along with the influences of such greats as 2pac, 50 cent, lil Bibby, Nipsey Hussle, Tory Lanez and many other artists from different genres.
