OnyiAka is a female Nigerian artiste based in Los Angeles. She made her debut in the afrobeat scene choreographing and appearing in music videos with major artiste like Young Paris, Wale, Davido, and Tiwa Savage. However, she wasn’t satisfied with being behind the scenes and started recording her own sound. As a multitalented creative, she had been writing songs from a young age and had no difficulty curating catchy hits. She is now recording a new style of Afrofusion music like no other artist the industry has seen. A proud Nigerian raised in California, she incorporates all her musical influences into her sound, seamlessly flowing between English, Pidgin and Igbo. Her unique rasp and vocal tone make her a stand out artist. This is a pure sound for the diaspora to move to.

This song is for the people that like to go to the party after the after party. On the weekends we get away from the stress of life. It’s a song about being fly and going out with your friends but there is a double message. In the chorus when I sing ” where will I go, where will I be” I’m not just talking about what party I’m going to next, I’m singing out that feeling you get when you’re in the middle of a great night out and you suddenly remember the stresses of life.more
