Over the past 2 decades "Richmont"; Storyteller, humble troubadour, and sometimes singer, producer, and guitarist has raised a family, pursued social justice, and labored long hours in the Richmont home recording studio. Recent focus has shifted to “Spoken Word” while continuing efforts occur toward songwriting, music production for digital media distribution, and furthering social justice Collaborations worldwide have included Steven Hewitt of "Phillip Traum and the Moral Sense" and "Out Of Orion", and Julian Rivera of "Black Ether" as well as talented musician Wendy Grondzil. Earlier projects included journeyman solo and ensemble work on the Cincinnati club scene, fronting such bands as “The Hollow” in the mid-’80s at places like Bogart's, and the now gone but forever infamous "Sudsy Malone's" Laundry and Bar. When younger, Richmont (aka Richard Montefiore) enjoyed participating in musical theater, fronted choral showcase events and led choral presentations in liturgical settings.
