Music and dance have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a small town in southern Illinois, and we had an old upright grand piano in the kitchen that I would sit at for hours every day until I was able to start putting notes together in a way that sounded like music. At six years old, I started taking dance classes and had dreams of being a professional ballerina someday. Both music and dance have given me a creative outlet for my emotions and have helped me through everything from the drama of middle school to the ups and downs of raising children, to the loss of loved ones. I try to let that emotion come through in my music, and hope that it helps you connect with your own emtions and creative expression whether in a ballet class or in your day to day life.
