Growing up on the amazing lyricists from the late 90's and early 00's, it annoys and saddens me to see the mumbling and heavily auto-tuned (c)rap circling around today. So this was my way of addressing the sub-genre known as mumble rap or Soundcloud rap, and "artists" (and I use that word loosely) such as Tekashi 6ix9ine, Lil Uzi, Yung Lean and others within the genre.more
