Beautifully Broken
" It’s a God-sent, so it’s got to be Beautiful." ABOUT THE ARTIST “From God’s lips to her ears”¬¬¬¬; this phrase best captures the birth of ‘Beautifully Broken’. Nylene John-Exumé is a singer-songwriter from St. Vincent and the Grenadines (West. Indies). Her inspirational gospel single has an exciting and motivational mood that draws you in, engages with you, then gives the reassurance of spiritual deliverance. With a unique gift for writing creative pieces, it was a matter of time before her first song would come to life. Then, in March of 2020, she put pen to paper, as the blessing unfolded during a devotional routine. During her teenage years she covered many of her favorite gospel songs and was a member of the group called ‘Project Praise’. Stylistically, she has drawn inspiration from many people including Oleta Adams, Amy Grant, Yolanda Adams, and CeCe Winans. Being bilingual has afforded her the opportunity to translate the chorus in Spanish with the of transcending language barriers and bridging cultures. She has since written other singles under equally unique circumstances. John-Exumé is of the view that the first iota of a gospel song idea, is not just about talent, but that songwriting is driven by all of life’s experiences. It involves a God who chooses, in His time, to make everything beautiful. more

Out The Door
OUT THE DOOR is an imaginative perception of how Jesus feels when he’s knocking at the door of our hearts and we don’t answer. It’s a message not to run to sin but run to Christ. If you open the door to your heart, he’ll meet you where you are, with love and opened arms. more
