Dai Hirai is a Japanese singer and songwriter, born in Tokyo on May 3rd, 1991. From an early age, he was influenced by his father who loves the guitar and surfing. He became more interested in music at the age of 3 when his grandmother gave him a ukulele. At 17, he received from his father music editing software. It is from that time he began composing his own music, which is a mixture of sounds of the islands (with the ukulele in particular) and Japanese pop.
