1000mods is a psychedelic/stoner rock band from Chiliomodi, Greece. They were formed in the summer of 2006 and since then, they have played hundreds of live shows, including openings for Brant Bjork, Colour Haze, Karma to Burn, My Sleeping Karma, Radio Moscow and many others. Their commitment to vintage equipment, thick and heavy analog sound and their remarkably passionate on stage performance is what sets them apart.
In the beginning of 2007 they released their first (self-financed) EP “Blank Reality” on CD

This track was started before the war in Ukraine, with its first ideas and sounds created in a completely different reality. It remained unfinished for some time and was eventually completed during the war.
It incorporates field recordings of industrial noise, processed and integrated into the composition as part of its texture and atmosphere.
The circumstances inevitably changed the way the material felt and the way the track was finished. What began as a sonic experiment became a document of two very different periods of life, connected in one piece.more
