2DCAT is an analog synth-driven, dark synthpop band based in Washington, D.C. Inspired by synth music from the late 70s and early 80s, their music creates a brooding, nostalgic, yet innovative soundscape that distinguishes them from contemporary artists. Harnessing the nostalgic resonance of vintage, analog synthesizers and the rhythmic allure of EPROM-based drumkits, 2DCAT captures the raw, gritty essence of a bygone musical era with a contemporary edge.
