aLr, raised in the Bronx but since stationed in San Antonio, is a composer and a producer of electronic music. In addition, a number of his products contain contributions from vocalists and instrumentalists. The creation of music plays a therapeutic role in aLr's life, and he views each composition as a way to work through difficult feelings and emotions, which he calls "emotional content," borrowing from the words of Bruce Lee. After moving to San Antonio, he formed a musical collaboration with Tomas Salazar, otherwise known as Lizarazo. Subsequently, he was invited to join First-Caste Records, a San Antonio-based start-up .
