Emery "Augustus" Modesto (born 24 August 1988) is a singer-songwriter from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Augustus is a big fan of Rihanna and Christina Aguilera and attributes his influence of singing to a huge variety of artists, including Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury, Beyoncé, Beatles, Alicia Keys, Chris Martin, Justin Timberlake, Backstreet Boys, Amy Winehouse, Adele, amongst others. He started writing songs at the age of 9. When he was 14, he decided to learn piano and guitar by himself so as to sing during events in Church.
