Torrence Hatch (born November 14, 1983) is an American rapper from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who raps under the name Lil Boosie.
Boosie then had an opportunity to join an newer, growing record label called Trill Entertainment which was backed by Pimp C of UGK. Pimp C signed Boosie and assisted him in bring his legal issues to an end. Soon after, Boosie and Trill independently released the CD For my Thugs under TrillEnt, which sold over 15,000 copies.
