And the Rain Pours
Thanks so much for listening! It means a lot. This song is about my Mum's death. “Interesting crossover of cinematic neoclassical and early dream pop with awesome female vocal, I heard trip-hop influence and 90s vibe, nice piano and violin part” by E:\music\ 🇺🇦 Ukraine Hauntingly addictive new demo from Liverpool's female-fronted Erasing Grace. Collaborating with multi-instrumentalist and producer Pluto Sun, fans of melancholy melodies will love these new tunes... a gorgeous mashup of Ladytron, Goldfrapp, Air and Mazzy Star influences. I wrote these lyrics after my Mum died, almost 5 years ago. She was 57 - and a year into her brain cancer diagnosis she was gone. This song is a 'death march' , telling the story of waiting for a loved one to die. A journey of all consuming limbo, on the periphery between life and death and oblivious - or avoiding - the horror that comes with the reality of their passing. ♥️more
