Bendeniz (born Deniz Çelik, 25 July 1973) is a Turkish pop musician. After graduating from Erenköy Kız Lisesi, a high school in Erenköy, Istanbul, she continued her education at a university in Switzerland for two years. For some time, she played football for İstanbul Dostlukspor in the Turkish women's football league. During this period, she also wrote some compositions and fiddled with the idea of publishing those songs. Musical career
