Chapterhouse
Chapterhouse was a British shoegaze band of the early 1990s, originally from Reading, England. Formed in 1987 by Andrew Sherriff and Stephen Patman, the band began performing alongside Spacemen 3. The band reunited for a few shows in 2008-2010. The band comprised of Andrew Sherriff (guitar/vocals), Stephen Patman (guitar/vocals), Simon Rowe (guitar), Jon Curtis (bass) and Ashley Bates (drums). Chapterhouse took the unusual step of rehearsing and gigging for well over a year before recording even a demo tape.

Bed Number 404
The Laneys’ new album Between Decades is out now on all major streaming platforms. Since some of the earlier tracks were already shared before release, I’m starting with one of the album cuts: Bed Number 404 A song from the quieter, stranger corners of the record — part memory, part hospital corridor, part trying to make sense of the years that don’t quite leave you alone. Would love to know what people think.more

The Invisible Man
The Invisible Man is taken from the new album Between Decades, now live on Bandcamp and coming soon to streaming platforms. Built around a quiet early-morning commute, the song slowly shifts from discomfort and routine into something more human and confronting. A tired passenger notices a man sleeping in a doorway, and for a brief moment the distance between two lives disappears. Soft, restrained and reflective, The Invisible Man is about homelessness, empathy, fragility, and the thin glass that separates ordinary life from falling through the cracks.more
