Charlie Brown Jr. was a brazilian skate rock band, from the city of Santos, São Paulo, whose main influences were Sublime, Rancid, Bad Brains, 311, Blink 182, Suicidal Tendencies, Infectious Grooves and Beastie Boys. The songs of the band blended various musical genres such as melodic hardcore, ska, rap, alternative rock and skate punk, creating a unique and original style.
History
When Chorão came to Santos at seventeen (after a difficult and somewhat traumatic childhood) he already had a strong interest in skateboarding and rock music.
