There are at least two artists who share this name. 1) Chevy were a British NWOBHM band of the early 1980s. They were formed in Coventry in 1979 just as the movement of new heavy metal bands were taking off. They released four official offerings, with their only full-length LP being "The Taker" - released in 1980. Chevy's sound is very much in the blues/southern rock style side of the NWOBHM genre, sounding similar to NWOBHM contemporaries like Medusa
