Cinnamon Chasers
Cinnamon Chasers, solo project of Russ Davies, has strong musical roots and cites early pioneers like Giorgio Moroder, Vangelis, Jean-Micheal Jarre, and KLF as key influences and leading to modern talent such as Alan Braxe, Rex The Dog, Junior Boys… Rather than create pretentious moody dance music Russ wants to create music that has an honest heart, and good intentions, and feels like a good friend. Cinnamon Chasers achieves this with a perfect blend of crisp electronics, Pop based song structure and melodies, and an Indie feel.

Deep Contact
I present to you Deep Contact, my first musical production. I started from a blank page. For a year I learned everything. Ableton, production, mixing, mastering, composition, arrangement. This new way of creating music, no longer with your hands on an instrument but with machines. Technology is transforming our relationship to musical creation, and I wanted to tame it. In this composition, there are four movements: awakening, the pursuit of happiness, fracture, and finally resolution. Life going on, then time slowing and stopping with death. A distant trace gently fading into the cosmos. Deep Contact is a message sent into the universe. Proof that something existed, a mark of my existence on this planet. I believe my eleven years studying music at the conservatory left their traces. You find them in the structure, in the breath, in the way each movement calls to the next. At a time when music production moves fast, repeats itself, and AI composes in place of artists, I chose to take my time and make what I truly felt sound.more
