In early 2013, fifteen songwriters from St Paul's Castle Hill got together and began to work on new music for the church. The vision was for biblically-rich lyrics and simple melodies. Over the course of the year, over fifty songs were written. Each was put through a strict review system involving a panel of songwriters, musicians and the pastoral ministry team. In February 2014, ten of these songs were recorded live at our home church. Produced by Nathan Finochio (The Royal Royal) and mixed by Ainslie Grosser (Chris Tomlin

SET FREE
SET FREE traverses through the books of John, Romans, Acts, Galatians, and 2 Corinthians -highlighting how believers are brought from death to life, and set free from sin and death. I identify myself as “THE ONE HE LOVED” (John 13:23, 21:20), since it was in love that Jesus -who is God- became flesh, lived a sinless life, died on the cross to pay for our sins, rose again on the third day, and is seated at the right hand of the Father -reigning and interceding for us. It is my prayer that by His Word and Spirit you come to know Him, because once you do, you too can say that you’re the one He loved.more

Temples Fall
“Temples Fall” was inspired by Christ in John 2. When Christ enters the temple area and declares that the leaders of the temple should destroy it, and that in three days Christ would raise it up again. It made me think, “isn’t that exactly what Christ asks of us?” Christ asks us to tear down our own temple, expose our pride, our ego, our sin, so that he can work within us to raise us up with Him. more
