Confessor
An anomaly for the death 'n' grind-obsessed Earache label, North Carolina's Confessor performed slow and dirgy doom metal, and were formed in 1986 by wailing vocalist Scott Jeffreys, guitarists Brian Shoaf and Ivan Colon, bassist Cary Rowells, and drummer Stephen Shelton. After releasing 3 demos, Confessor released a debut album called Condemned in 91 and an eponymous EP, but lack of interest in their talents soon drove them to break up. They re-formed a decade later under tragic circumstances to play a benefit for the recently deceased Colon

Spiritual Self
An inner dance and spiritual kind of feel. After releasing an album, It's nice to not have the pressure of releasing an album or an EP that lingers in my head. It's exciting to do either or but the singles route gives a peace of mind and relief of not having this overwhelming cloud of music. It's simple and refreshing Sometimes the spirit has a dance and the main chorus riff is itmore

Turning Point
This is in the place of the fishbowl outside looking in of a moment in time where you went to far Could it be energy drinks? Alcohol? Porn? Too much of something to where you know when you need to stop? It comes from that headspace. A place where something becomes too much that needs to be addressed to make a change, an altering decision that says no more. Awareness and a realization to a point where it becomes a turning Point Something has to happen to alter this more

Suffering Departure
Ever experience not only just a heartbreak but a feeling that it's about to happen? Or you won't feel it until you leave and or it hits heavily as you walk away? I try to capture that. A place where you know you tried your absolutely best but YOU KNOW in your heart you have to go forward because you know it's not good for you or it's not a good end result Putting so much effort, allowing more than what you can receive isn't enough to put you in a position where you know you need to be. I wrote this to my 9 year old self Sometimes leaving is the best thing but feeling it along the way isn't the best Extremely heavy song. You have been warned more
