Crack Rock Steady 7 is an incarnation of New York City band Leftöver Crack, with members of Choking Victim, INDK, and Morning Glory. In order to avoid record label complications by releasing the split EP Baby Jesus Sliced Up in the Manger with F-Minus as "Leftöver Crack", the name "Crack Rock Steady 7" was chosen. As the lineup featured musicians not normally on the Leftöver Crack roster, "Crack Rock Steady 7" is often used to refer to the musicians collectively compromising the above bands.
