Born in Sydney, Australia and trained as a classical pianist as a child, DJ Daydream is undoubtedly Australia's best internationally known happy hardcore DJ. "Classical was more a training ground to give me the knowledge of music," he says, "but I really didn't appreciate it because there were so many things tied to it. Whereas with the whole sort of 'rave music' scene it was more a freedom of expression. You could do anything you wanted to." And "want to" he did.
