DAAB - the most popular Polish reggae band was conceived in March 1983 at the initiative of Andrzej Zeńczewski (vocal,guitar, ), Piotr Strojnowski (vocal, guitar), Dariusz Gierszewski (drums, ) and Artur Miłoszewski (bass). In mid-1985, the group recorded its /debut-single/ SP with a mystic reggae hit "Przed nami wielka przestrzeń" and dedcated to a certain person - "Do Plasticka".
