(Seven bands with the same name, scroll down to read descriptions) Decibel, ITALY: Decibel are an italian punk band born in the late '70s. They are the first Enrico Ruggeri's band. They published two albums before splitting in 1980. The first one in 1978 is "Punk", the lyrics are involved with social frustration and the music is rough. The following issue, Vivo da re, in 1980, contains the single Contessa which allowed the band to sing in the "Festival di Sanremo", the most known italian pop music festival.
