This Brisbane-based multi-intrumentalist was born in 1977 in Mitrovicë in the former Yugoslavian region of Kosovo. Donat began home recording from a very early age, giving out cassette albums to friends in high school, before launching his own Sewing Circle label in the mid 90s. Since that time, he has released over a dozen albums mostly in small print runs and in more recent years performed as a side-man, playing drums or guitar in a string of Brisbane bands
