Born "Charles Douglas Newman IV," Dougie Rimes didn't start out listening to Rap, R&B or Hip-Hop. It was actually prohibited in his household. As he matured early in his high school years he found a love for football and baseball, where he won a baseball state championship and was one of South Carolina's top rated football prospects. After visiting many college's he decided to go to the University of South Carolina to play football. He also recorded the fastest 40-yard dash time during recruiting day for his position.
