Hip-Hop became an outlet for Duru at a young age and as a means of getting out the inner city life. Duru described music as “Dope” and he found it amazing how you could transfer your thoughts onto paper and make it sound good. The realization came early for Duru, that music could serve as a positive opportunity for him to make money.
