Dumpstaphunk is a New Orleans funk band formed in 2002 and fronted by Ivan Neville.
Neville, a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter, is the son of Aaron Neville and nephew to members of the Neville Brothers.

Our 7th official release is our interpretation of Bill Withers ‘Ain’t No Sunshine’. A combination of liquid basslines with 808s, a retro beat created on the classic Roland TR808 with some big drums on top, strings playing the iconic line as well as some Soulful, RnB style vocals and a Carlos Santana inspired guitar solo. Blending genres and eras to create a modern version of a classic song. Trap and Drill meet Soul and some Rock n Roll.more

Secret
We love mixing different elements from genres and time periods to create a different sound. In our upcoming single, 'Secret', there is retro rock, a little pop, soul, and a touch of classical. Big vocals and danceable beats are common for us. The single drops everywhere 11/11. Hope you enjoy!more
