When The Fat Lady Sings
The lyrics to this song, titled 'When the Fat Lady Sings,' were written by my dear friend and artist, SG Holter (check him out on Spotify), who tragically passed away from cancer at a young age a few years ago. SG was a brilliant singer and songwriter, and I had the privilege of designing his first and last album. A few days before he passed, he called me to share the heartbreaking news from the doctor—that there was nothing more to be done. In an attempt to comfort him, albeit clumsily, I reminded him that 'It's not over until the fat lady sings.' Shortly after, I received the lyrics to this song in my email. Alongside the lyrics, he expressed his desire for me to compose a song in the unique style of King of Skulls. It became my most challenging task. I can't say if I've done justice to his vision, but I certainly hope I have. I share this song in the spirit of hope and remembrance, hoping that you all find some enjoyment in it. Sending peace and love from the King of Skulls.more

The corps
"This song is based on a dream I had. I was dead, but I could still sense all that was going on around me. As I lay there in the woods, rotting, I could see the days pass."more
