Érik Pédurand is a singer/ songwriter originally from the French Caribbean island of Guadeloupe. The artist has a reputation for surprising his audiences with his unique arrangements and unapologetic frankness. His work is infused with diverse musical roots, including Guadeloupean gwo-ka, blues, soul and jazz. His lyrics explore subjects little discussed outside of France: the Creole experience, French identity politics, and life in the Parisian capital.
