Let Me Go
Lyrics: Memories falling in this endless hole I'm merely just a surviving soul I'm trying my best but I'm losing self-control The fate of us is soon to unfold I know it's hard to tell But life to me is a living hell You're not in fault I'm the one who's unwell I'm sorry to say that this is farewell I'll pray that you'll be alright While I set my paths to be all right Please let me go and take your flight I hope you'll be finding someone better I'll pray that you'll be alright, alright, alright I'll pray that you'll be alright, alright I know this isn't wise I miss those smiles within your dark brown eyes But I'm a bomb of lies I'm a figure to rust So please let me go Go beyond the stars I'll pray that you'll be alright While I set my paths to be all right Please let me go and take your flight I hope you'll be finding someone better I'll pray that you'll be alright That I'm not with you to be by your side Please let me go and be in the light I know you'll be finding someone special I'll pray that you'll be alright, alright, alright I'll pray that you'll be alright, alright All these lessons, open ended Full of questions, full of answers All I need is nobody else but you (baby) And I'm undeserving of your beauty I'm unworthy, I've hurt so many All I wish is for you to let me go I'll pray that you'll be alright, alright, alright I'll pray that you'll be alright, alright I'll pray that you'll be alright That I'm not with you to be by your side Please let me go and be in the light I know you'll be finding someone special I'll pray that you'll be alright, alright, alright I'll pray that you'll be alright, alright I'll pray that you'll be alrightmore

Where Will We Go?
This is the first song I ever released. I wrote and produced it for my Religion and Ecology final project in the Fall of 2021. The song was written through the perspective of Mother Nature witnessing the world fall apart by the hands of humankind. The making of this song was accompanied by my research on Indigenous worldviews involving land stewardship as well as the principles of "deep ecology", and how we can aid in the preservation of our planet by applying these teachings to our lives. "Where Will We Go?" poses the question, "Where will we go when we destroy our planet?" and suggests that we start making changes in the ways that we treat our planet. As the song states, "The breath of life exists in us all, and if we don't believe, then we will all fall." It is important that we view all living beings as equals worthy of protection and respect — all living things are interdependent. We must acknowledge the weight of our actions and work toward more sustainable, reciprocal, and respectful ways of interacting with the natural world.more
