Lyrics: A brief flicker of consciousness In an otherwise dark world Through the vast expanse of space We seemed so infinite Yet we’re bound to one another By the threads of gravity A fleeting moment of beauty In this cosmic dance called life We’re explorers of the void and pioneers of the soul A quest for meaningful discovery The connection to who we are, yeah, yeah I said who we are As I question every turn in life I wonder who we are As I look for the answers The mirror looks back at me Questioning who we are The self, the need, the body to be The people we meet, yeah And who we are I said who we are It never seems to amaze me All the differences that we might have And some so trivial like skin The power that's within When you divide, and you hate yourself I hope its a simple life Cocooned up waiting for your ultimate flight When you’ll take to the sky In a whole new Galaxy of being But you are the Butterfly I see you outside my- Window when the rain's coming down You’re just an insect crawling on the ground Butterfly And I wrote you like I stand I promise, I can, I can be (I stand, I wrote you everything) Better when you’re breaking on your get away The letters that you wrote (I’m not better, I’m not feeling the ways) Never meant anything at all to me (Like you couldn’t help at all) As I question every turn in life I wonder who we are As I look for the answers The mirror looks back at me Questioning who we are The self, the needs, the body to be The people we meet, yeah And who we are! So who are you?more
