Funny Death is an electronic music producer mostly influenced by synthpop, dreampop, french house, shoegaze & punk music. As an animator/illustrator who fell in love with Japanimation during his childhood, Funny Death tends to sample Japanese animated series/movies from the 80's and the 90’s. His music is vacillating between the nostalgia of the 80's and the curiosity of contemporary electronica's evolution; between the reverbs and delays of dreampop and shoegaze and the sharp sound of electronica and punk music.
