This is from my upcoming album the soundtrack for The Apocalypse . it is written for 3 pianos and 3 pianists. The idea is simple, but a little absurd: imagine finally deciding to get sober, checking yourself into rehab, and discovering that you picked the exact day the world ends. The music moves between uncertainty, anxiety, determination, and flashes of almost reckless optimism. It’s about trying to change your life while everything around you seems to be falling apart. No lyrics. Just the piano telling the story.more
