This song comes from a boy who believes that even the smallest effort can say something huge. To him, running up the hill to pick daffodils isn’t just a cute gesture, t’s his way of gathering sunlight and handing it to the one he loves. He knows she’ll feel special and happy, not because the flowers are rare, but because they’re from him. And in his eyes, no flower on that hill could ever compare to her; she’s the one who makes the whole world brighter, far prettier than any bloom he could bring home. Note: “This song is a small, sunlit promise: if I could run up the hill and gather every daffodil glowing in the light, I’d bring them all home just to see you smile. To me, you’re brighter than any flower, but maybe these notes can stand in for a bouquet.” more
