Hexperos is a neoclassical darkwave group from Italy founded in October 2004 by Alessandra Santovito, former vocalist of Gothica, and Francesco Forgione, a creative double bass player, keyboardist, guitarist and composer. Their style is reminiscent of chamber music. Alessandra is a talented soprano, wielding various styles of singing from Mediterranean to northern European, from ancient to modern. Like Gothica, the compositions contrast low bass tones with heavenly voices, but the music is calmer and softer.
