Hongo is a four piece sludge metal band, in earlier times strongly influenced by screamo and crust punk, now playing a darker and more metallic sound with suffocated vocals.

First track from our 3-song debut EP just released 3 days ago!
We worked really hard on giving the exact sound we wanted to this record so hopefully someone else can enjoy it.
The subgenre is something between Neo-crust, Post-hardcore, Emocrust, Blackened Hardcore, etc.
Main influences are Tragedy, Ekkaia, Envy, Muga and MUCC.
