The idea has been lingering in his head for fair a bit of time, however Kevin Imbrechts has been modelling the ambient of Illuminine initially in silence. Initially confined within the solitude of his bedroom walls, it wasn't until Christophe Vandewoude (Isbells, Pilod) threw a helping hand as producer that they started recording in the studios of Muziekcentrum Het Depot in Leuven. Kevin continued to work isolated, barring all external influences, with the idea of forging his melancholic sound palette into an album.
