This is a string quartet piece I wrote/composed. A bit different than my usual music but I thought I'd share it. It's called burnout because it's about feeling just that. Burnt out, exhausted, sad, melancholy, indifferent all of that. I wrote it with the instruments acting as voices in an internal dialogue of someone going through it. The Cello is the voice that says everything sucks and it won't get better not matter what you try The Viola is the voice saying "I hear you" and being supportive/just listening but also trying to give advice or encouragement that it will get better. The violin is the brief moments where you think "maybe it will be alright" But it always falls back to feeling like it will always suck.
