Jop is a Dutch one-hit-wonder artist known from a SBS real-life series called "The Bus". During the show, Jop had a relationship with Antonette, for whom he sang the song 'Jij bent de Zon'. Jop was eventually thrown out of the bus because he had molested a person in his past and had lied about this to the series' producers. Just after this show he came with his song "Jij bent de zon" (English: You are the sun).
