Karametade
Karametade is a Brazilian pagode musical group hailing from Santos, São Paulo. They became nationally known in the mid-1990s for the song “Morango do Nordeste", reaching number one on Brazilian charts.
The band’s name is a wordplay on “Cara Metade” (Soul Mate).
Career
The group launched professionally in 1996, after signing with Sony Music. They original band included Vavá, Marcelo CQ, Sameer, Marcelo Mury, Waguinho, Pepê, Dodô and Marcinho.
