Katalepsy is a brutal death metal band that formed in 2003. Their brand of brutal death metal incorporates bludgeoning technical riffs at manic speeds, lots wicked blast beats and double bass, gut wrenching vocals and plenty of skull crushing slam breakdowns. Some bands they can be compared to are Disavowed, Inveracity, Inherit Disease, Malignancy, Abominable Putridity and to a slightly lesser extent Dehumanized and Skinless. Though, that doesn't mean Katalepsy are "just another brutal death metal band"
