KHAMSIN began as the instrumental solo project of Jacob Curry in 2012. After moving to Nashville and recruiting friends to flesh out the songs, the music took a turn towards lyrically based indie/post-rock with jagged, linear guitar riffs and a rolling rhythm section in the vein of From Indian Lakes, HRVRD, and Colour Revolt. It's this honest, airy complexity within the dreamo boundaries that has lead the band to share the stage with a variety of acts including Tides of Man, Valleyheart, Household, Mess, and Author.
