You Can Go Now
"You Can Go Now" was written from the perspective of myself being dead, watching people come and go, especially my ex, hearing words and regrets I needed to hear while I was still alive. It's about the painful realization that sometimes people only appreciate what they had once it's gone. By the end, the meaning takes an unexpected turn without changing the message: telling her she can leave becomes a reminder that there's still someone alive who needs her, and maybe this time, she should choose to stay.
