There are at least six bands called Mongrel: a punk band from the U.S., a hip-hop/indie rock band from the UK, a german punk/hardcore band from Munich, a hardcore punk band from Galway, a black metal band from Brooklyn, New York, a Canadian one man project who recorded the self titled album "Mongrel" which can be classified as stoner rock and lastly a Death Metal/Hardcore called Mongrel from San Diego, California. Mongrel were a Brooklyn based black metal band from the House Of First Light.
