Mike Douglass (Mindscrub) started piano lessons when he was six years old and took up the guitar at the age of 19. Now 47, he says, "I don't talk much, but I mean every single note of what I'm playing. I hope it comes through in a way that resonates with people. Otherwise, I’m just a guy with a few guitars and a small amount of free time. I use music, primarily metal, to get me through the day and all of life's barriers."
