MistaJam is a UMA award winning DJ and Radio presenter for BBC Radio 1Xtra and BBC Radio 1. His BBC Radio 1Xtra show is broadcast every weekday between 7pm-10pm. The show covers the best new black music across the genres and was intended to bridge the gap between the mainstream and specialist worlds. Nicknamed 'the key to the underground', the show also features live music including monthly sessions from the BBC Maida Vale studios named 'Jam Sessions'.
